Latest Poll Shows Paul and Romney Stronger in Michigan

RON PAUL U.S.A. | February 21, 2012

The latest PPP poll to come out of Michigan shows the race continued to tighten in this critical state last week.  Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are up strong since the last poll a few weeks ago. Romney has risen 9 points and now trails Santorum by only 4 points. Ron Paul is also up significantly since the last poll, rising 3 points from 12% to 15%.  The vote now stands as Santorum 37%, Romney 33%, Paul 15%, Gingrich 10%.  Ron Paul just began airing strong attack ads on Rick Santorum in Michigan today, calling him a "fake" fiscal conservative.  In the past, Paul's ads have had a considerable impact on poll results, most noticeably in Iowa when he turned his attacks on Newt Gingrich.
