Ron Paul Was Offered Speaking Role At GOP Convention, With Conditions

RON PAUL U.S.A. | August 25, 2012

Leave it to the GOP to try and have their cake and eat it to.  Like the rest of us, they realize that beating Obama without the full support of Ron Paul Nation is impossible.  However,
what are they to do with a man that blows huge holes in many of their core positions on issues like foreign policy and civil liberties?  Well, they try to make him a deal.  Guess what GOP, Ron Paul does not make deals!!!

According to an interview with the New York Times, Dr. Paul reveals that the GOP did make him an offer to speak at the convention, with certain conditions.

Mr. Paul, in an interview, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined.

“It wouldn’t be my speech,” Mr. Paul said. “That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president.”

I guess "Plan B" for the GOP is to show the Ron Paul Tribute video to try and appease us!  Guess what GOP, you will never get us to vote for your puppet candidate!  Like Ron Paul, we cannot be appeased, we cannot be bought, and we do not make deals!
