Ron Paul Is The Only Hope

COLORADOAN.COM | Nate Armfield | February 3, 2012

I was at the Ron Paul rally at CSU where more than 1,000 people packed the main ballroom, with another 100 people who were willing to sit through choppy live streaming video in an overflow room just to hear what this man had to say. Could you imagine any other candidate generating this kind of enthusiasm?

Especially considering the crowd was mostly younger college-aged people. And what talking points sent them into an uproar? The Constitution & Bill of Rights, fiscal responsibility, limited government, free markets, sound monetary policy, a humble foreign policy as advocated by the founding fathers.
All of which should be music to the ears of any true conservative who hasn't forgotten what they stand for. What really excites people is that Paul isn't just giving lip service to these principles, but his 10 terms in Congress with a 100 percent Constitutional voting record proves he actually walks the talk.

Let's make Colorado a turning point in this election, and with only 10 percent of the delegates chosen this is a real possibility.

According to the latest USA Today/Gallup poll, Paul is in a statistical tie with Obama, the only other candidate that comes close is Romney. Paul is the only candidate who has demonstrated he can generate enough grassroots support, including young people and independents, that the GOP will desperately need to win the White House.

Wake up Republicans. You really want to beat the billion dollar puppet Obama? Ron Paul is our only hope.
